We clean pcs of anything unwanted and disable startup programs and services that can rob your computer of the operational efficiency you once enjoyed.

Our specialists will develop specific solutions for your specific needs. Wired Networks
Many businesses continue to implement standard wire network topology. Whether it be because of preference or because wireless networks cannot reach adequate distances, we continue to service such networks. Over time, these networks can become susceptible to many faults. Frayed wiring, faulty or loose jacks, overloaded switches, and "network chatter" among other things can cause wired networks to operate below expected throughput. Our experts are highly trained and will work to get your network up to speed.
Wireless Networks
Wireless networks are becoming more and more prevalent throughout the world. Our training consists of all current and emerging wireless network standards as well as many of the common interfaces used by wireless technology companies today, including: Linksys, Dlink, Cisco, SonicWall, NetGear, TrendNet, Dell, and many others.

Information Technology and Security Consulting
At Effective Computer Solutions we focus on advising businesses on how best to use information technology to meet the specific objectives of their business. In addition to providing advice, we often implement, deploy, and administer IT systems on behalf of our customers.
Computer and Internet Security
By providing our customers with the appropriate tools and adequate knowledge, we strive to help you keep your system free from the dangers of the internet before they can become a problem. Common security applications we suggest include AVG Free Anti-Virus, Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware Free, and HijackThis.
Data Recovery
We are highly trained in many methods of data recovery. Often, bad hard drives can cause your computer to run slower than normal, crash frequently, and eventually render your system useless. Hard drive damage can occur physically and logically. Logical damage can corrupt your data and leave files "mangled" beyond repair, however logical damage does not ruin a hard drive. Physical damage to a hard drive happens when any of the many tiny components within the drive begin to fail. This damage can ruin your drive and prevent it from operating. Some signs of physical damage are clicking, squeaking, or spinning noises. We urge our customers to frequently back up all important data. The life expectancy of a hard drive is typically around 5 years, however this time frame is very tentative depending on the nature of your drive's operation. Excessive use of your hard drive due to low system memory
and/or viruses or spyware can greatly decrease the life expectancy of your drive.
