How to remove Norton Antivirus, Norton Internet Security, and other Symantec products manually

Symantec offers several utilities that can be used to uninstall Norton and Symantec products manully. Although Norton suggest you use Add/Remove Programs, we recommend using this always. It eliminates problems from a corrupt install as well as removes extra entries in the registry that the normal uninstall doesn't take care of.

The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products from your computer. If you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases before you proceed.

Download for Windows Me/98

The RnisUPG utility removes Norton AntiVirus 2002 or earlier, Norton Internet Security 2002 or earlier, Norton Personal Firewall 2002 or earlier, and other Norton products from 2002 and before.
